Today, in a sustained counter-offensive, three brigades of the OLA’s Central Command launched a coordinated assault on Abiy Ahmed’s forces in the Abuunaa Gindabarat district of the West Shewa Zone, specifically targeting the areas of Dhoksaa, Kototaa, Leencaa, and Biitee.
This operation, executed by the Murtoo Guutoo, Magarsaa Barii, and Risaa Laga Mogor brigades of the OLA’s Central Shewa Command, inflicted losses on the regime’s forces. The regime´s forces suffered 70 fatalities, 82 wounded, and numerous captures. Additionally, the OLA seized its military assets, including four Bren light machine guns, three sniper rifles, 51 AKM assault rifles, parts of a DShK heavy machine gun, explosives, and various types of ammunition.
In the face of the regime’s deceptive and desperate maneuvers, the OLA’s sustained operations continue to defend our people and their aspirations!
