In an ongoing operation, our forces launched a decisive assault against the regime’s army in the Mettaa Roobii district of the West Shewa Zone. During the operation in the areas of Kuyyuu Gicee Qullaa and Laga Roobii in Mettaa Roobii district, our forces neutralized 69 regime soldiers and wounded 91 others, capturing scores in the process. Additionally, OLA forces seized regime arsenal, including 43 AKM rifles, two sniper rifles, explosives, and a substantial quantity of ammunition.
While the regime continues to conscript and exploit our youth, including detaining them for ransom, and continues to celebrate the militarization of its conscripts, the OLA remains resolute in its defense of our homeland against Abiy Ahmed’s aggression.
