Update 5: Operation Cichoomina Kaayyoo
1. Units of Southern Command took actiion in West Gujii, Qarcaa District, at Gaalessa Dubbisaa, OLA units successfully overran a regime military camp.
* The soldiers were dispersed, and the camp was secured.
* Prosperity Party (PP) zonal and woreda officials present at the camp fled the scene.
2. Similar action was taken in West Gujii, Dugda Dawaa District, at Heemma Kinshoo:
* 19 regime soldiers were neutralized, 17 wounded, and their weapons confiscated.
3. The Biiftuu Barii Brigade of OLA´s Madda Albuudaa Command launched an offensive on a regime military camp in East Gujii, Sabbaa Boruu District, at Saphansaa Booroo:
* 40 soldiers killed, 36 wounded, and 8 taken into custody.
* Recovered significant weapons, including tens of AKMs, PKMs, and a large quantity of ammunition.
4. The Eebbisaa Addunyaa Brigade of our Western Command attacked a regime military camp in East Wollega, Haroo Limmuu District:
* Recovered tens of AK-47 rifles, thousands of rounds of ammunition, and other essential military supplies.
5. Continued Capacity Building: OLA has simultaneously continued to expand and strengthen its operational capabilities:
* New recruits have completed their training under the Western Command.
* Operational readiness and tactical expertise of existing forces are being systematically improved.
