ONM-ABO – March 16, 2025
The Prosperity Party (PP) regime’s forces continue their systematic campaign of abductions and extrajudicial killings in Oromia, with two more innocent Oromo youths brutally executed in Heban Arsi district, West Arsi region.
On March 14, 2025, Guta Tubulu and Abarra Arsoo Buloo were kidnapped from their family homes and murdered by PP’s mafia army without any legal proceedings or justification, sources told ONM.
Residents confirm that both victims were ordinary civilians with no political affiliations, focused solely on their daily lives. Their deaths further expose the regime’s ruthless policy of collective punishment against the Oromo people, where young men are arbitrarily labeled as threats and executed without trial.
PP’s War on Oromo Civilians for Power and Profit
The Prosperity Party’s militias are not only enforcing the dictatorship’s genocidal agenda but also enriching themselves through the suffering of Oromo civilians. Under the pretense of “security operations,” PP agents loot, kill, and terrorize innocent people to secure personal wealth and political dominance.
These latest killings add to the growing list of state-sanctioned crimes across Oromia, where the government has abandoned governance in favor of outright repression. The international community must take urgent action to hold the Ethiopian regime accountable for its ongoing crimes against humanity.
