On March 23, 2025, two regime soldiers carrying AKM rifles with full ammunition joined the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA), the hope and shield of the Oromo people.
The former regime soldiers stated that they joined the OLA after realizing that the only path to liberating the oppressed Oromo nation is through resistance.
The PP regime has armed itself heavily to oppress civilians and maintain its grip on power. However, many have chosen to abandon the dictatorship and stand with the OLA in the fight for freedom.
