The 2nd phase of the Market Strike and Transport Blockade was widely implemented across the Oromia

The Oromo Liberation Youth Movement (OLYM has called for a People’s Resistance alongside the armed struggle to overthrow the oppressive PP regime.

The curfew started at 6:00 pm yesterday, January 28. Transportation movements were suspended and shops were closed in several parts of Oromia this morning.
The shops were closed in Muggii town and protest took place in Anfilloo district, Qellem Wallagga zone.

By the rally took place in Anfillo district the people were said anti PP regime slogan and underlined peace only achieved in Oromia by OLA.

In West Wollega Kiltu Kara district Talamso Village, the communities were shown their oppose for the PP regime and support for Oromo Liberation Army by rally this morning.

The blockade and strike was implemented in districts such as Abuna Gindabarat, Kachisii, Ada’aa Bargaa, Metta Walqixxee, Metta Roobii, Dandii and Ejersa Lafoo in West Shaggar, while shops including banks were closed and vehicles were parked in Naqamtee town in East Wallagga.

There was no traffic on the road from Maki town in Dugdaa district of East Shaggar and shops in the town were closed, as well as cars was suspended on the expressway from Adama to Finfinnee.

The decree was observed in several districts from Ciroo to Dirre Dhawa in Eastern Oromia as well as in Horroo Guduruu Wallagga.

The Asphalt roads leading to Marti -Adama, Marti-Asakoo, Jajuu-Marti and Doonii-Jimaatee were closed in southeastern Oromia.

There is a ban on the road to West Guji and Borana in southern Oromia.

Roads leading to the peoples of southwestern Ethiopia, Weellisoo to Finfinnee, Sidama to Oromia, Amhara region to Oromia, north Shaggar in various districts and leads to Finfinnee, as well as Gambeela to Oromia, Benishangul Gumuuz to Oromia and in West Wallagga of Oromia the roads were closed in several districts.

Accepting the declaration the business community has closed their shops, parked their vehicles and stayed off work.
