The people’s protest against the oppressive Prosperity party (PP)regime that is deploying hundreds of thousands of ground arms and committed genocide by taking drone strikes started on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 6:00 am, has been implemented in all parts of Oromia for the 2nd day.
The decree started by closing roads connecting districts to districts, towns to cities, cities to Finfinnee,(the capital of the country) and connecting Oromia with neighboring states, continued blocking transportation movement.
In towns like Naqamtee and Maqii, banks have closed and workers have gone on strike.
One of the roads that have been heavily re-blocked is Jimma Wallisoo Road; there was no any movement of any vehicle today.
The structure of the regime is shaking with terror and is in confusion about what to do as the decree is being implemented in East Wallagga, Qellem Wallagga, West Shaggar, North Shaggar, South West Shaggar, West and East Arsi, both Guji and Eastern Oromia.
There is a severe shock in the cities around Finfinnee known as Shaggar City and the blockade of imports from Oromia is causing concerns about the shortage of supply, rising food prices and the community is worried about the situation.
Realizing the impact of the second phase of the market strike and transportation blockade on its administration, and being shocked by the people’s fearless resistance against the armed forces, the regime is arresting, looting, beating, closing shops and confiscating license plates from vehicles.
For instances, the regime’s army arrested drivers in Jimma Arjoo district of East Wallagga and in Maqii town. They also arrested, with no any reason, youths walking on the street and sitting together talking to each other. In Ulaa Arbaa village in Zuwaay Dugdaa district of East Arsi, they have conducted looting and arrests since the beginning of the decree.
Oromo Liberation Youth Movement (OLYM ) nown by ( Qeerroo Bilisummaa Oromoo ) is responding to the actions of the fascist PP regime and owners who have violated the decree by taking action in different localities like Awaday town, Qondaala district, Toongoo, Wallisoo and Jimmaa roads as well as many other places today as Committee of Qeerroo Bilisummaa Oromoo reported to Arraata Biyyoolessa Oromiyaa.
