After days of combat, the Oromo Liberation Army (WBO) defeated PP armed units in Najjoo and liberated the town.

ONM – ABO On November 7, 2022, the WBO, defender of the Oromo nation, attacked the PP forces in Najjoo and the surrounding areas. The operation successfully removed all of the remaining fascistic Abiy Ahmed combatants.

The battle for Najjoo, West Wallagga, between the PP government forces and WBO, which began on Thursday November 3, 2022, concluded with the complete defeat of PP forces and total liberation of the town of Najjoo.

At this time, remnants of PP forces are fleeing along the road to Kamaashi, leaving behind several dead and wounded. This operation resulted in casualities to PP forces that includes 102 dead, 218 wounded, and WBO recovered 1 Dushka machine gun, 2 Bren, 156 rifles, 8245 bullets and numerous army uniform and protective uniforms. In addition, WBO operations resulted in the release of 80 prisoners from all police stations and the main prison if the town and county of Najjoo and surroundings.

Residents of Najjoo are standing in front of their homes and streets and cheering WBO fighters. However, because PP airforce crafts are is seen in the skies, residents are advised not to appear in crowds to avoid being targets of the fascistic airforce bombing. The OLA military campaign in West Oromia that began on October 14, 2022 has successfully liberated 12 counties and 1 city administration.

The operation in Oromia to remove the oppressors and agents of the autocracy will continue.
