The regime’s forces looted livestocks and grains. Over the past six years, under the authoritarian rule of Abiy Ahmed’s regime, countless lives have been cut short, and invaluable resources ravaged.

In the last few weeks, colonel Abiy Ahmed has mobilized armed forces employing both aerial and ground heavy weaponry with the hope to repair the shaken Ethiopian empire and keep it together by force. This has led to civilian casualties, with people being targeted in their own homes, and properties, including livestock and homesteads, being obliterated.

On April 19, 2024, in the Faalloo village of Jalduu district, North Shaggar zone, the PP army utilized cannons to kill two cattle belonging to Mr. Hirphaa Dirribaa. Similarly, in Warqee Waleensuu village, Metta Robii district, Mr. Baqqalaa Begii’s house and belongings were destroyed by mortar fire, and Mr. Gaddisaa Baqqalaa suffered the loss of two houses and all their contents.

According to credible reports, in Qoree Ginnoo village, ten livestock were slaughtered by PP forces using mortar fire. In Siree Baabbuu village, Metta Walqixxee district, the homes of Mr. Baay’isaa Tulluu were razed, and five ardaba of grain were looted, along with two ardaba of grain from Mr. Abdataa Dirribaa.

In an indiscriminate mortar attack by imperial armed forces in Ejersaa village, Warra Jaarsoo district, Mrs. Kuruuzee Baalchaa and Mrs. Fayyee Adabuu sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment at Kuyyuu Hospital.
