Oromo Misery Continues Under PP Administration

The ruling Prosperity Party (PP) administration persists in its killing spree across Oromia, demonstrating a blatant disregard for sacred human life. Under the leadership of Dictator Abiy Ahmed, Ethiopia faces suffering and havoc.

Human rights organizations, including Human Rights Watch, have accused the Ethiopian government of numerous human rights abuses. Despite these accusations, the government consistently offers fake and fabricated counter-narratives, dismissing the concerns raised by human rights institutions.

The toll is staggering: tens of thousands of civilians killed or disappeared under mysterious circumstances. The Oromo community bears the brunt of the government’s heavy-handedness.

Recent reports from Shaashamannee in the West Arsi Zone reveal the same government footprints in criminal activities. Local PP administrators, in collaboration with the police, reportedly abduct civilians from their homes under the cover of darkness. Some victims are arbitrarily detained, while others vanish without a trace.

Notably, the following individuals have been affected:

  1. Abdirahmaan Waaqayyoo
  2. Abdullah Tibbiissoofi
  3. Galatuu Tashitee
  4. Bashiir Gammachuu

In a separate incident, the Fanno Terrorists movement continues to plague Oromia. The Amhara supremacist group recently attacked the Dongorotti area in the Horro Guduru Zone. The barbaric acts of terror resulted in civilian fatalities:

  1. Shibbiruu Tolasa
  2. Tashoommaa Jaalufi
  3. Gizawuu Galdaasaa

Amidst the chaos, many civilians were displaced, and properties worth millions were destroyed. Shockingly, the group utilized local schools as bases of operation to attack villages and their surroundings. Regrettably, there has been no reported government response to prevent further damages.
