The Ethiopian Regime soldiers persistently engage in looting, kidnapping, and destruction of civilian homes in East Arsi, Oromia Region.
The notorious Prosperity Party mafia group has deployed its troops to the tranquil community of Haccamoo Furfuree in Jajuu district, East Arsi causing havoc in the area. Specifically, individuals named Abdurjabbar Abdurhaman and Abdurhaman Haji Hussein seized cattle from local farmers, slaughtered them, as a sign of the cost of dissent against the government.
The soldiers have forcibly displaced villagers, coercing them to enter nearby towns under threat of death—labeling those who remain outside as supporters of the OLA.
On July 5, 2024, they set homes ablaze, kidnapped residents from Jimatee town, and vanished without a trace.
Disturbingly, these armed groups continue to arrest, loot, burn, and kill the families of Oromo Liberation Fighters.
