Ethiopian Military Continues Human Rights Violations in Guji Zone, Oromia

On April 17, 2024, ONM sources reported that in the Buuda Magaadaa sublocation of the Bule Hora district of Guji, Oromia, the Ethiopian military killed three individuals, including Teesisaa Arboo,. Dambalaa Safaayi, and Tasfaayee Komoodoo.

On April 16, 2024, the agents of the Ethiopian regime perpetrated similar atrocities in the West Guji Zone. In the Dugdaa Dawaa district and Gelendee Local Administration, the ENDF set fire to four homes, leaving families without homes.

On April 12, 2024, more than 25 students were abducted from their dormitaries at Bule Hora University and were brutally murdered by the Ethiopian defense forces. The Ethiopian military forces reportedly arrested and tortured numerous other university students from the same campus.

These disturbing reports highlight the dire human rights situation in the Guji Zone of Oromia, warranting urgent international attention.
