As the Ethiopian ruling regime continues its brutality across Oromia, an elderly community figure, Jaarraa Dughoo, suffered severe injuries following an assault by a government militia in East Arsi zone’s Janjuu District. The incident, which involved a wooden sheath, left Mr. Dughoo in a critical state, necessitating immediate medical intervention at a nearby clinic.
The attack took place in the Huruta Doore area of the Jaju District, specifically in the Dildila Jara locality, marking a continuation of the troubling pattern of aggression by the government targeting influential community members throughout Oromia. This pattern aligns with broader reports of serious human rights violations, including mass killings and violence.
