Once again, the murderous Abiy regime has unleashed its forces on the most vulnerable—unarmed shepherd children—in a grotesque display of brutality.
On May 20, 2025, in the rural villages of Beenaa 1ffaa and Beenaa 2ffaa (Daarimuu District, Illu Abbaa Boora zone), regime security forces carried out a premeditated slaughter of innocent boys whose only alleged “crime” was giving directions to OLA fighters who passed through the area. But their real offense in the eyes of this regime is daring to exist as Oromo youth. These were not combatants. They were children, as young as 13, shot down in cold blood for the sin of being born under a regime that views them as expendable. The victims of this atrocity include:
1. Boonaa Abdurraman Buruysa, just 13 years
2. Falmataa Abdallaa Ahimad, 14 years old
3. Adinaan Sheekoo Abdullaa, 16 years old
4. Firoo Aliyyii Adam, 13 years old
5. Badhaasaa Ammee Maammud, 13 years old
6. Naa’ol Asaffaa, 25 years old
7. Maadii Misbaahuu, 16 years old
