The PP agents have intensified the looting of residents’ properties. They continue to loot the civilian community with an alleged tie the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA).
The residents of Badhaasaa, Mul’ataa and Jireenyaa villages in Guutoo Giddaa District of East Wallaggaa region told ONM that they are currently unable to tend to their fields and livestock due to harassment by the regime’s forces.
On May 03, 2024, they looted 3 motorcycles that belong Sambataa Moosisaa, Amanuu Hundee, and others. They parked the looted motorcycles at Naqamtee police stations in villages 05, 07 and Kumsaa Morodaa.
So far, more than 40 motorcycles have been seized. The motorcycles kept at the district police station are severely damaged while in their custody. The police use the seized motorcycles to train their members or sell them for self-enrichment.
