Seenaa Abera, a young girl brimming with promise and potential, was tragically killed by the forces of Abiy Ahmed in her own home on Wednesday. This inhumane regime also claimed the lives of her mother, Eebbisee Barkii, her sister, Aster Abera, and their neighbor Ogeettii Ballinaa. The horrific incident took place in the West Wollega Zone, Mana Sibu District, Waankii Town.
This heart-wrenching loss is a stark reminder of the ongoing violence and suffering endured by innocent civilians. Seenaa’s bright future and and her family’s lives were taken in an act of unspeakable cruelty.
We honor the memory of Seenaa Abera, Eebbisee Barkii, Aster Abera and Ogeettii Ballinaa, and stand in solidarity with their loved ones and their community.
