On April 7, 2025, the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) operating in the Harsade zone carried out a decisive operation in Liiban Cuqqala district of the East Shaggar region. The targeted action took place in the Daglaa Jiddaa village, where the PP army was conducting operations under the guise of tax collection.
As a result of the offensive, six of Abiy Ahmed’s soldiers were killed and four others seriously wounded. The OLA also seized three AKM rifles, a heavy machine gun, and 100 rounds of ammunition during the encounter.
Continuing its momentum, the OLA launched another attack on a PP military camp in Haroo Adii town, located in Fantallee district, East Shaggar region. Two additional enemy soldiers were killed and several others wounded in the operation.
