The Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) launched a major offensive against the Ethiopian Defense Forces (EDF) in Lado Dada village of Abaya district on the morning of July 8th, killing more than 35 soldiers and wounding 23 others.
The OLA dispersed the enemy forces and captured 12 AKM rifles, 364 PKM bullets, 500 AKM bullets, 4 bombs, ammunition magazines, and chains of PKM bullets from the fleeing enemy forces.
