– A member of the fascist regime of the PP has joined the OLA from Lataa Sibuu district in the West Wallagga zone, bringing with him full guns and weapons. He declared that he would not participate in a historical plot against the community he was born into. The OLA, meanwhile, referred the matter to ONM.
The former soldier left the camp with 1 AKM rifle, 60 rounds of ammunition, and 3 additional rounds. He stated that he could no longer tolerate the pressure being exerted on the Oromo people day and night by the soldiers of the PP, who are carrying out the wishes and mission of Colonel Abiy Ahmed. He emphasized that the cruelty of the regime against Oromo mothers, fathers, and brothers is a betrayal of history and called on others to join the struggle for justice to fulfill their duty as Oromummaa.
In the history of the Ethiopian empire, military forces have often claimed to protect the people while deviating from their duties of border enforcement, constitution, and law enforcement. Instead, they have killed civilians under the guise of ensuring the rule of law, highlighting a legacy of oppression and disappearance.
