On April 6, 2025, residents of Martii district in the Eastern Arsi region reported that PP regime forces committed severe atrocities against civilians. According to local sources, the soldiers set fire to civilian homes and properties without any provocation.
The names of some of the victims whose homes were burned include:
- Mussa Hassan,
- Hussein Hassan,
- Qasim Hassan,
- Bayan Hassan,
- Muhammad Bahamud,
- Adam Qomicha,
- Ahimad Qomicha,
- Ifa Idris,
- Gabi Qasim, and
- Hissa Hasan
Sources confirm that these individuals were all married and self-employed, with no affiliation to the OLA. However, under the false accusation of supporting the Oromo Liberation Army, their homes and livelihoods were deliberately destroyed by the fascist PP army.
